Although I have now studied the life sciences for many years, I have absolutely no wet lab experience and, so, the full extent of my work is within the field of theoretical biology. Nevertheless, I think that the non-empirical science of mathematics has much to offer the field of biology in testing hypotheses which involve logical assertion and questioning the logical or theoretical routes of certain empirical observations or assertions.
